You did everything right, you were strong, courageous and you handled the pain waaay better than me too. I was 6 hours in when I asked for the epidural. After that, I don't remember much of the labor, at least not in the detail that you remember yours. I'm curious though, if you could do it over, would you have the epidural?Vicki Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11296906631649016428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4554065451552854407.post-60815463803281726302012-06-03T11:08:49.412-05:002012-06-03T11:08:49.412-05:00you already know that this made me cry too.

I am so proud of you and Trey. I'm amazed at how God's hand was in every single part of this miracle from conception to delivery. I'm so happy you are safe and healthy, as is your precious daughter. I'm incredibly thankful to be a small part of your lives, and I have never been more touched by a blog post. Maybe it's because I know you personally, maybe it's because I know about your faith, maybe it's because I know how prayed over this precious child was and is. Whatever the reason, I love you and I'm so thankful you've shared this with such honesty, bravery and detail. The surgery itself didn't last that long, so I don't think my doctor was worried about putting me on a drip for a short amount of time. My numbers went up after the birth, but I think it had more to do with the fact that I hadn't eaten in a day and a half.

HollyHollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16671756469055958359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4554065451552854407.post-90257352306764679702012-05-31T22:46:34.846-05:002012-05-31T22:46:34.846-05:00Crying right now! You mentioned, in part 1, something about being out of control, and I think it's safe to say that there are always moments in birth that are out of our control, no matter whether we have a home, hospital, vaginal, or surgical birth.

You seem to have truly made the most of the moments when you did have control (in pregnancy and birth!)...and you grew and delivered a healthy baby! I hope you are getting some good recovery rest, and thanks again for sharing so much with all of us!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14587665766913467582noreply@blogger.com
